Descrizione:Trifluoromethanesulfonanilide is a synthetic compound that is used as an insecticide. It is toxic to animals, but not plants. Trifluoromethanesulfonanilide inhibits the growth of insects by binding to the receptors in their nerve cells, which causes paralysis and death. This chemical also has a number of other biological properties including the ability to interfere with lipid metabolism, inflammatory diseases such as asthma, and gene expression. Trifluoromethanesulfonic acid is the active metabolite of trifluoromethanesulfonanilide and it binds to DNA and RNA molecules, inhibiting transcription and replication.
