Descrizione:Thenalidine is an antihistamine that inhibits histamine release and the effects of histamine on allergic reactions. It is chemically related to the aldehyde group, which has a pyridinedicarboxylic acid structure. The aldehyde group forms a covalent bond with the amino group of histidine, preventing its attachment to the benzene ring. Thenalidine also has anti-inflammatory properties and may be effective in treating inflammatory diseases such as asthma and arthritis. Symptoms of thenalidine overdose include dizziness, nausea, headache, and skin rash. Thenalidine can cause symptoms of allergic reactions including hives, itching, swelling of the face or mouth, difficulty breathing, or tightness in the chest. It can also cause symptoms of autoimmune diseases such as fever and joint pain.
