Descrizione:1,2,3-Trichlorobenzene is an anthelmintic drug that belongs to the family of trichlorobenzenes. It is a non-systemic insecticide that is used in water vapor and soil fumigation. This drug has been shown to react with the adsorption sites on soil particles and decompose into dichlorbenzene. The reaction mechanism of 1,2,3-trichlorobenzene with the adsorption sites on soil particles has been studied using analytical methods such as gas chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography. Dechlorination reactions have also been studied using benzalkonium chloride and glycol ether in a constant pressure system at room temperature. Structural analysis has revealed that 1,2,3-trichlorobenzene consists of three chlorine atoms attached to one benzene ring.
