4-Undecyloxybenzoic Acid is a secretory phospholipase that has been shown to have a phase transition temperature of 17.5°C, which is the lowest among all secretory phospholipases. It is a cytosolic enzyme that belongs to the group of serine hydrolases. The functional theory for 4-undecyloxybenzoic acid is based on the sequence of amino acids and hydrogen bonds between the enzyme and substrates. This enzyme has been shown to be effective in photocatalytic reactions with UV light.
