Descrizione:1,2,3-Propanetricarboxamide is a nonionic surfactant that is used in many industrial applications. It has been shown to be an efficient corrosion inhibitor for copper and brass. 1,2,3-Propanetricarboxamide has also been used as a molecular probe to study the electrochemical properties of single electron transfer reactions. This compound has been studied by spectroscopy (IR and UV), microscopy (SEM), and atomic force microscopy. The molecule consists of a carboxylic acid group on one end and three tertiary amine groups on the other end. 1,2,3-Propanetricarboxamide is soluble in water and can be made using techniques such as x-ray crystallography or nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
