Descrizione:Oul35 is a human protein that has been shown to have a role in the pathogenic mechanism of several inflammatory diseases, including cancer. Oul35 is an integral component of the mitochondrial respiratory chain and has been shown to be involved in oxidative phosphorylation. Oul35 is also localized in the nucleus and has been shown to regulate transcription of genes related to inflammation and cell proliferation. It has also been implicated in the regulation of nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer (NF-κB) activation. The molecular modeling studies on oul35 have shown that this protein binds adenosine diphosphate ribose (ADPR) through its N terminus.
