Descrizione:UK-371804 is a drug that has been shown to inhibit the activity of serine proteases, including urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA) and thrombin. It has been shown to be effective in treatment of cancer, particularly prostate cancer and lung cancer. UK-371804 also inhibits the production of hyaluronic acid, which is an important component of the extracellular matrix. This drug can be used as an excisional agent in the treatment of skin lesions such as warts and molluscum contagiosum. UK-371804 is also active against viruses, such as herpes simplex virus type 1, vaccinia virus, and adenovirus.
