It has been shown to have senolytic properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, as well as its ability to induce apoptosis in cancer cells. VU0661013 does not affect other cellular pathways, such as those involving cap-dependent translation and protein synthesis. There are currently no studies on the effects of VU0661013 on healthy cells or patients samples.
