• Descrizione: VZ185 is a bromodomain inhibitor that has been shown to have an IC50 of 0.1 μM against the human BRD4 protein in vitro. VZ185 has also been shown to potently inhibit cellular proliferation and induce G1 cell cycle arrest in a dose-dependent manner in mammalian cells. The heterobifunctional nature of VZ185 allows it to bind to both the bromodomain and the ubiquitin ligase domains of BRD4 simultaneously, forming a ternary complex with BRD4 and e3 ubiquitin ligase. This ternary complex formation inhibits BRD4 from binding with other proteins, thereby preventing cancer cells from proliferating and inducing apoptosis.
