Descrizione:Oxine benzoate is a fungicide that inhibits the growth of fungi by inhibiting protein synthesis. Oxine benzoate has been shown to inhibit the growth of fungi at concentrations of less than 1 ppm. This compound has been shown to be effective against plant diseases such as powdery mildew and also has a solubilizing effect on other pesticides such as 2-phenylphenol. The mechanism of action involves binding to the acceptor site on fungal ribosomes, which disrupts protein synthesis by blocking peptide bond formation.
