Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2-Dibenzothiophenamine
Dibenzothiophen-2-amine is a ligand that binds to the aldehyde oxidase, which is an enzyme involved in the metabolism of acetaldehyde. In addition, this molecule has been shown to have antimalarial activity and cytotoxicity against cancer cells. It exhibits photochromism and displays bathochromic profiles. The synthesis of this molecule involves the reaction of an amine with an aldehyde, followed by the reduction of sulfoxides to sulfides. This can be accomplished using sodium cyanoborohydride as reducing agent. Dibenzothiophen-2-amine is also readily accessible through the condensation of 2,4-diaminotoluene with acetaldehyde in presence of hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid.
