Descrizione

Molybdic acid is a chemical compound that has significant interactions with many other substances. It is stable in acidic conditions and the complex formed by molybdenum and methyl ethyl dimethyl fumarate is thermodynamically favored. Molybdic acid reacts with water vapor to form hydrogen ions and molybdate ion. The reaction solution is acidic due to the presence of hydrogen ions. Molybdic acid also has an enzyme activity that promotes the transfer reactions of sulfur, nitrogen, phosphorus, or iron atoms. This property can lead to its use as a catalyst for organic synthesis reactions.
