Antimony iodide is a compound that is used as an oxidation catalyst in water vapor. It can be synthesized by reacting antimony with hydrochloric acid and iron oxides. Antimony iodide has been extensively studied for the treatment of cancer tissue, and has been shown to kill cancer cells without harming healthy cells.
