Descrizione:2-Amino-1-cyclohexylethanol is an organic compound that contains a hydroxy group with two nitro groups. The carbon disulphide reacts with the hydroxyl group to form an inorganic compound, which can be removed by adding a hydroxide solution. This reaction is used for the synthesis of cyclohexanols from 2-aminocyclohexanol. 2-Amino-1-cyclohexylethanol has been shown to have cancer inhibiting effects, as well as anti-inflammatory properties. It also interacts with amines and sodium hydroxide solution in the presence of heat to form a new product, which is used as an intermediate for other syntheses.
