(1R,4S)-1-Methyl-4-(prop-1-en-2-yl)cyclohex-2-en-1-ol is a volatile oil that has been found to have an activity index of 100. It is extracted from the leaves of Citrus aurantium and is used in perfumes and as a flavor agent. The most prominent monoterpene hydrocarbons in this compound are camphene, citronellal, limonene, geraniol, linalool and terpinene.
