Methylamine trifluoroacetate is a molecule that has been shown to be effective in cancer treatment. It inhibits the growth of bowel disease by binding to the tyrosine kinase, Flt3, and inhibiting DNA synthesis. The uptake of methylamine trifluoroacetate into target tissue is increased by the presence of trifluoroacetic acid, which may be due to its chemical stability. Methylamine trifluoroacetate also binds to serotonin receptors and has been shown to inhibit serotonin reuptake in inflammatory diseases and autoimmune diseases. This drug also inhibits receptor activity for various inflammatory diseases such as arthritis or asthma.
