• Descrizione: Lintopride is a potent and selective blocker of the L-type Ca2+ channels. It binds to the channel protein in its open state, thereby blocking the influx of extracellular Ca2+. Lintopride is used as a research tool to study ion channels, receptor binding, ligand-receptor interactions, and protein interactions. Lintopride has been shown to activate the calcium-sensitive phospholipase A2 in erythrocytes and inhibit platelet aggregation. It also inhibits DNA synthesis in human lymphocytes.
