Descrizione:DSR-141562 is a potent and selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterases. The compound was shown to inhibit the activity of PDE4 selectively, with little or no inhibition of other phosphodiesterases. DSR-141562 has been shown to be effective in animal models for depression and hyperactivity. The drug also has a profile that suggests it may have therapeutic potential for the treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. This drug has been shown to be orally active in animal models and is expressed in tissues such as brain, liver, kidney, heart, lung, and spleen. DSR-141562 inhibits the activity of dopamine transporter (DAT) and norepinephrine transporter (NET), which are proteins that are responsible for removing dopamine from synapses in the brain.
