Descrizione:RXFP1-Agonist-8 is a small molecule that binds to the RXFP1 receptor and acts as a specific agonist. RXFP1 is localized primarily in the liver, kidney, and heart. RXFP1-Agonist-8 has been shown to increase the expression of collagen type I and III in human skin fibroblasts and to reduce the size of cardiac infarcts in rats. This drug also has glucocorticoid receptor antagonist effects that are mediated by cAMP. In addition, it is an allosteric modulator of RXFP1 that increases its affinity for ligands such as lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and high density lipoprotein (HDL).
