Descrizione:GDC-0349 is a drug that belongs to the class of pharmacological agents. It is an inhibitor of sphingosine kinase, which is a key enzyme in sphingolipid metabolism. GDC-0349 has been shown to be active in clinical studies for the treatment of inflammatory diseases and autoimmune diseases. GDC-0349 also inhibits oxidative injury induced by reactive oxygen species (ROS). This drug induces autophagy, a process of degradation and recycling cellular components that are no longer needed. GDC-0349 has potent anticancer effects and can inhibit protein synthesis in cancer cells via inhibition of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and epidermal growth factor (EGF). The drug also inhibits growth factors such as TGFβ, IL6, and PDGF.
