Cyperin is a natural compound that belongs to the group of diphenyl ethers. It has been shown to have a wide range of biological activities, including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria by interfering with the synthesis of fatty acids or by binding to protein receptors on the bacterial surface. Cyperin also inhibits plant physiology by inhibiting radical scavenging activities in wheat leaves and other plants.
