• Descrizione: NG 25 trihydrochloride is a potent and selective inhibitor of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of the receptor in vitro, with IC50 values of 1.1 nM against α7-nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and 4.3 μM against β2-nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. NG 25 trihydrochloride has also been shown to be an agonist at α7-nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and a partial agonist at β2-nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in vivo. This product may be used as a research tool for investigating the role of ion channels in cell biology.
