Descrizione

Naltrexone is an opioid antagonist that binds to the δ opioid receptor. It is used in the treatment of addiction to opioids, alcohol and other substances. Naltrexone impurity J (N-J) is a metabolite of naltrexone that has been shown to have immunomodulatory effects in vitro studies. N-J has also been shown to have analgesic properties in vivo and in vitro studies. The concentration response for this compound was measured using δ opioid receptor knockout mice and CD-1 mice.
