BTS 54-505 is a drug that acts as a dopamine receptor agonist. It is used to treat Parkinson's disease and other diseases of the central nervous system. This drug binds to the target enzyme, which is responsible for the uptake of neurotransmitters into nerve cells, and increases the activity of neurotransmitters in the brain. Dopamine also affects blood pressure by stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors.
