Descrizione:ENMD-2076 is a kinase inhibitor that targets the pro-apoptotic protein Bax and the kinase Raf. It has been shown to inhibit cell signaling pathways, causing a decrease in mitochondrial membrane potential and leading to cell death. ENMD-2076 has minimal toxicity in vitro and potent antitumor activity. This drug is also effective against platinum-resistant ovarian cancer cells. In addition, ENMD-2076 has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against cancer cells and minimal toxicity against normal cells. ENMD-2076 also shows significant cytotoxicity when applied topically to eye disorders such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and retinitis pigmentosa (RP).
