Descrizione:TTA-Q6 is a cognition-enhancing drug that belongs to the class of psychostimulants. It is an agonist at dopamine D2 receptors and has been shown to have nootropic effects in animal models. TTA-Q6 is not an antagonist at NMDA glutamate receptors, which are involved in the development of memory. TTA-Q6 also has a significant effect on locomotor activity, but does not affect visuospatial learning and memory or attention span. This compound also exhibits beneficial effects on working memory, as seen in rat studies. The mechanism of action for these effects is not fully understood.
