Descrizione:2-Methoxy-3-methylnaphthalene is an organic compound with the formula CHOC(O)CH. It is a positional and stereoisomer of 1-methoxy-2,3-dimethylnaphthalene. The methoxy group is positioned on the second carbon atom from the end of the naphthalene molecule. 2-Methoxy-3-methylnaphthalene has been studied for its ability to react with electron beams in order to produce spectra that can be used to characterize it. This compound also has ether groups which are capable of undergoing fragmentation reactions with electron impact ionization.
