Descrizione:KO 143 is a methyltransferase inhibitor that blocks the activity of p-glycoprotein. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of ABCG2 in vitro and is used for the treatment of cancer. KO 143 also inhibits protein kinase B (Akt), which is found in high levels in many types of cancer cells. KO 143 can be used synergistically with natural compounds, such as curcuminoids, to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
