Descrizione

Arctiin is a natural product that belongs to the group of phenolic compounds. It has been shown to inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in human endothelial cells. Arctiin has also been shown to decrease melanin synthesis, as well as suppress systemic inflammatory responses. Arctiin can be extracted from the plant burdock (Arctium lappa) or synthesized chemically. The most efficient way to extract arctigenin is through lignocellulosic biomass, which is derived from plant sources such as corn stover, sugar cane bagasse, and poplar wood chips. Synthetic chemicals are not required for this process, making it more sustainable and environmentally friendly than other methods of extraction.
