2-Deoxy-2,2-difluoro-D-threo-pentofuranos-1-ulose-3,5-dibenzoate is a custom synthesis of an oligosaccharide. Click modification is the process by which 2,2'-dF (fluorine) is introduced into the furanose ring at the C4 position.
