• Descrizione: XAC is a monoclonal antibody that targets the adenosine A3 receptor and blocks its activation. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties through inhibition of actin filament polymerization, which reduces the production of inflammatory cytokines (e.g., TNF-α). XAC binds to the adenosine receptor and prevents its activation by blocking the binding of adenosine, preventing the downstream signaling pathways. XAC has also been shown to prevent allergic reactions by inhibiting mast cell degranulation and reducing IgE production. The drug has no effect on wild-type cells, but does inhibit drug efflux in mutant cells.
