Descrizione:JNJ DGAT2-A is a diacylglycerol acyltransferase that catalyzes the formation of triglycerides, phospholipids, and cholesterol esters from diacylglycerols. It is thought to play an important role in regulating the production of inflammatory cytokines. JNJ DGAT2-A has been shown to inhibit the uptake of extracellular lipids by cells and may be involved in the regulation of fatty acid synthesis. JNJ DGAT2-A may also be involved in the metabolism of fatty acids and phospholipids as well as cholesterol esters. This enzyme may also have other pharmacological properties such as anti-inflammatory activities or population bioactivity.
