Descrizione:Megestrol acetate-3 (MegA3) is a synthetic estradiol that is used for research purposes. MegA3 can be quantified using gas chromatography-chemical ionization mass spectrometer (GC-CI-MS) or liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer (LC-MS). The residue from homogenized tissue samples can also be analyzed using GC-MS, LC-MS, and quadrupole mass spectrometers. This product has been shown to bind to estrogen receptors in the liver and modulate the production of cholesterol. Megestrol acetate has also been shown to have anabolic effects on muscle tissue.
