Descrizione:Phenylethyl 2-acetamido-3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-2-deoxy-b-D-glucopyranoside is a high purity custom synthesis sugar. It is synthesized by Click modification of the terminal hydroxyl group of an oligosaccharide with glycals derived from phenylethyl alcohol and glycerol. This process yields a modified sugar with two acetamido groups in the reducing end and one acetamido group at the nonreducing end. Phenylethyl 2-acetamido-3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-2-deoxy-b-D--glucopyranoside has been fluorinated to increase its stability and modified to reduce its reactivity towards glycosidases. The complex carbohydrate has a CAS number of 197574–92–8.
