Descrizione:HZ-166 is a drug which acts as a GABA receptor agonist and has been shown to be efficacious in the treatment of neuropathic pain. It binds to the α1 subunit of the GABA receptor with high affinity, but also has some activity against other subunits. HZ-166 is not selective for any particular GABA receptor subtype, so it may have an effect on both the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system.
