Descrizione:Yangambin is an acetate extract of the plant yangambin. Yangambin has been shown to have anti-cancer effects in vitro and in vivo, including a reduction in cell proliferation, differentiation and migration. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. This extract was studied on mice with squamous carcinoma and found to inhibit tumor growth. Yangambin is also known for its ability to stimulate the immune system by activating toll-like receptors (TLRs) that are involved in the recognition of pathogens. Yangambin activates TLR2, TLR4, and TLR9 pathways and induces a pro-inflammatory response against Leishmania parasites.
