Descrizione:N-Methyl-N-phenylmethanesulfonamide (NMPSA) is a small molecule that has been used as an anticancer agent in human cell cultures. NMPSA inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inducing apoptosis and arrest of the cell cycle, which may be due to its ability to inhibit tyrosine kinase activity. It also inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which are thought to play a role in tumorigenesis. NMPSA has been shown to be more potent than other anticancer drugs on a per weight basis, with an EC50 value of 0.1 μM.
