It was determined that the reaction only occurs at temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius. The equilibrium constant of this reaction is unknown because it has not been fully investigated. 2,4,6,8-Tetraoxanonane has a vapor pressure of 1.3 x 10-3 torr at 25 degrees Celsius and an oxygenated ternary mixture phase diagram has been created for it.
