Descrizione:Pomolic acid is a natural compound that belongs to the group of p-hydroxybenzoic acid. Pomolic acid has been shown to inhibit the activity of p-glycoprotein (P-gp) and induce apoptosis in HL60 cells. It also inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by targeting the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway and inhibiting DNA synthesis. The mechanism of action is not fully understood, but it is thought that pomolic acid interacts with the enzyme polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to produce significant cytotoxic effects on cancer cells. Pomolic acid can be used as a selective inhibitor for PCR and as an anti-cancer drug.
