Descrizione

2'-Deoxy-5-fluorocytidine is a methyltransferase inhibitor that inhibits the activity of DNA methyltransferases. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of DNA methyltransferases in vitro and in vivo, leading to tumor cell death. 2'-Deoxy-5-fluorocytidine has been shown to target intracellular targets, such as histones and ribosomes, which are involved in cancer development. The toxicity of this drug has been studied extensively and it has been shown to have low toxicity in mice. This drug is not toxic for normal cells or animals when administered at high doses.
