• Descrizione: PRE-084 hydrochloride is a compound that binds to the dopamine transporter (DAT), inhibiting uptake of dopamine by cells. It has been shown to have antidepressant-like activity in mice and rats, as well as anti-inflammatory properties. PRE-084 hydrochloride also inhibits the uptake of serotonin, which may contribute to its antidepressant effects. PRE-084 hydrochloride has also been shown to inhibit the influenza virus by binding to viral nucleoprotein, preventing replication and transcription. This compound has also been shown to bind to and inhibit chaperones such as Hsp90 and Hsp70, leading to an increase in cytokines such as IL-10 and a decrease in pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNFα and IL1β.
