Sialyl-3-fucosyllactose is a monosaccharide that is a component of the sialyl-Lewisx oligosaccharide. The il-2 receptor binds to this oligosaccharide, which is involved in energy efficiency. 3'-Sialyl-3-fucosyllactose has been linked to cancer resistance and gene product production. It has also been found to be an important dietary nutrient for animals and humans. 3'-Sialyl-3-fucosyllactose plays an important role in the growth of cells, especially those that have been damaged or are undergoing apoptosis.
