Descrizione:Trimethylfurfurylamine is a reactive compound that can be synthesized from dimethylamine and formaldehyde. Trimethylfurfurylamine is used in wastewater treatment to reduce the concentration of chlorine and other oxidants in the effluent. Trimethylfurfurylamine is also used as a monomer for polyurethanes and as a precursor for dyes and pharmaceuticals. This chemical has been shown to have antimuscarinic effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit acetylcholine release at nerve terminals.
