Descrizione:Steviol-19-glucosid (STG) is a glycoside derivative of stevia that is unmodified. STG has been shown to have organoleptic properties similar to those of sucrose and can be used as a sweetener in foods and beverages. STG is an inactivator of ion-exchange resins, which is used for the purification of sugar syrups. Steviol-19-glucosid also has glycoside compositions that differ from those found in stevia extract and can be used in the production of grafts. The short chain structure makes it more easily absorbed by the body than other types of sugar molecules.
