5'-O-DMT-thymidine phosphoramidite dimer is a novel, synthetic nucleoside that can be used for the treatment of cancers. It is an antiviral and antibacterial agent that has been shown to have cytotoxic effects against cancer cells. 5'-O-DMT-thymidine phosphoramidite dimer is not active against bacteria or viruses that are resistant to other nucleoside analogues.
