(2R,2R,Cis)-saxagliptin is an analytical research and development (R&D) drug development API impurity HPLC standard that is a metabolite of saxagliptin. Saxagliptin is a drug product that has been approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) in vitro and in vivo.
