BI-409306 is a novel aliphatic hydrocarbon with neurodevelopmental and psychotropic effects. It has been shown to induce hyperlocomotion in rats, as well as causing an increase in the concentrations of dopamine in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus. BI-409306 has also been shown to have a positive effect on eye disorders and is effective at treating symptoms of endpoints, such as psychosis and neurodevelopmental disorders. This drug also has pharmacokinetic properties that are unique among drugs in its class.
