Descrizione:Rac epinephrine-d3 is a low detection racemic mixture of epinephrine that is used to detect frictional surfaces. It is a methacrylate monomer with the formula CH2=C(CH3)CO2H and has a molecular weight of 150. Rac epinephrine-d3 has been shown to bind selectively to 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA) in the human brain, and it has been shown to be an antagonist at serotonin receptors in rat brains. Rac epinephrine-d3 is insoluble in organic solvents, but soluble in water. It is also supercritical under high pressure and temperature conditions, which makes it useful for some applications such as environmental pollution studies.
