Informazioni sul prodotto
Trimethyl bromoorthoacetate is a nitrate ester that is used as a reagent in organic chemistry. It reacts with methylamine to form the nitro compound, which can be reduced to an amine or oxidized to an alcohol. Trimethyl bromoorthoacetate has also been used as an intermediate in the synthesis of ammonium and chloromethyl compounds. The nitrate ester can be converted into a variety of other functional groups using different reagents, such as methoxycarbonylmethyl chloride, which converts trimethyl bromoorthoacetate into methyl 3-bromopropionate. Trimethyl bromoorthoacetate is also used for the production of ammonium nitrate and other related compounds.
