Descrizione:Phenytoin is a drug that is used to help control seizures. It has been shown to be useful in treating epilepsy, bipolar disorder, and other seizure disorders. Phenytoin-D10 solution is an isotopically labeled form of phenytoin that can be used for the detection of the drug in biological fluids. The efficiency of the reference standard was determined by immunoassays with supernatants from cultured cells that were treated with phenytoin. The accuracy of the immunoassay was confirmed by analyzing acetonitrile extracts and matrix effects on the analyzers. Ammonium formate was used as a solvent for chromatographic separation and sample preparation for analysis was laborious and time-consuming. The calibration curve was linear over a range of concentrations from 0.001 to 10 μg/mL (0.1 ng/mL).
